It's really choppy and suuuuuper scribbly because I took like 30 seconds to draw each frame. Please fill in the gaps and gloss over the art with your wonderful imagination! I made it in Windows Movie Maker which is an absolutely evil program =o=

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me. :la:
Sadly I will be alone for this one. Matt had to do a concert he didn't want to do, so I will be live tweeting (humonlazydiva) my impression of the whole shebang. :D
The Echo chamber dilemmaThe promise of the Internet was that unlimited information and experiences would draw us together. But instead it seems to have driven us apart.
For years I've observed this behavior but haven't been able to vocalize it correctly. Originally I called the behavior of collective opinions as "the hive mentality" of the Internet. But that wasn't exactly right and I often got called out on it. The most prominent example was when I made a comic about a guy disagreeing with opinions and being shouted at till he remained quiet, eventually fading into the background with everyone else. The consensus of that comic was that if you disagree with someone you aren't bullied into not speaking, but instead are free to go someplace else where people who do agree with you exist. And you know what? That wasn't what i was trying to convey, but is sadly true. The Internet is not a hive mind. It's many tiny pocket echo chambers of mutual agreements.

So, the near life experience...

When it comes to our last breath, when it comes to the face of the death, we will see what we have done in life. We will regret some, we will proud some. We will see the whole life and we will start to think people around us.

When it comes to the end of time, we will have power. Power to change ourselves. Power to see everything so clear. Can we live the life like we're dying? So we can have power to change ourselves. To be a better person in live, no matter how hard life is.

Sometimes, we hurt someone. Sometimes, we make someone happy. Sometimes, everything doesn't even clear. Sometimes, life can be confusing and can be frustrating. But then, sometimes, life can be very very valuable.

Then, it depends on us how to live our life...
